What are the dates & location for the 2024 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits?

The Exhibit Hall and other special events are Friday, May 17, 2024 through Sunday, May 19, 2024. There is a soft lobby opening on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Pre-register now!

How do I get to the convention center?

On Central Expressway
Take Central Expressway (U.S. 75) southbound. Take exit to I-35/U.S. 77 to Field Street. Turn left under the freeway and veer to the right onto Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.

On the Tollway
Go south on the Dallas North Tollway. Take the Harry Hines/Downtown exit to Field Street to Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.

On Highway 183

Take Carpenter Freeway (I-183) east to Stemmons Freeway (I-35E) southbound. Take the I-45/U.S. 75 exit to the Griffin Street exit. The Convention Center is straight ahead. (Also works for those coming from Denton/Lewisville.) The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.

On I-35 from the South
Take R.L. Thornton Freeway (I-35E) northbound. Take I-30 east to Griffin/Lamar exit. Stay in the left lane as you exit to continue on Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.

On I-45
Take Julius Schepps (I-45) northbound. Take I-30 West to Downtown/Ervay Street exit to Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the Convention Center.

On I-30
Take R.L. Thornton Freeway (I-30) westbound to Dallas. Take the Downtown/Ervay Street exit from the left lane of the freeway. As you exit, you will be on Griffin Street. The Convention Center is straight ahead. The parking garage entrance is at the corner of Memorial and Griffin, on the south side of the KBHCCD.

DART-Dallas Area Transit
Red and Blue Rail Lines both stop directly at the Convention Center. For further information you may contact DART #214-979-1111 for fees and schedules or visit their website at www.dart.org

Where do I park at the convention center?

A map that highlights both KBHCCD and nearby public parking options is available here. Together, KBHCC and Ace Parking offers convenient parking for a fee. Click here for locations and pricing. Will there by WiFi services at the convention center?

WiFi is available for free in all lobbies throughout the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Scan for wireless connections and choose “free internet”. Click connect once the splash page loads.

When is the Exhibit Hall open?

Friday, May 17: 9am to 6pm
Saturday, May 18: 9am to 6pm
Sunday, May 19: 10am to 5pm

When is the NRAstore open?

The NRAstore will be open:
Thursday, May 16: 2:00pm - 6:30pm
Friday, May 17: 8:00am - 6:30pm

Is there a cost to attend the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits?

The NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits is FREE to all NRA members and their families (spouse and children under 18 years old). Not already a member? Join and register at the same time. For faster entry into the NRA Annual Meeting, please remember to bring your current membership card with you. Registration for the 2024 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits will be opening in January 2024.

What can I do to make registration smoother on-site?

To make registration on-site a breeze, please bring one of the following with you: 

  • NRA Membership Card
  • NRA Magazine Label
  • NRA Membership number

When will I get my badge and what will be on it?

Admission Badges are generic. Your name will not appear on the badge. Badges will be shipped on or before April 24, 2024. Pre-Registration closes on April 24, 2024.  If you haven't received your badge by May 8, 2024 or have any questions regarding the pre-registration badge order process please contact us at 877-672-7632. When they arrive, they will look like this: 

 

Where can I purchase tickets for special events?

When is the Members Meeting?

The Members Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00am at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Hall A.

Are there shuttles buses from the Hotels to the Convention Center?

Yes! More information coming soon for shuttles at the 2024 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits!

Is there a mobile app? Where do I go to download it?

Yes! The mobile app is back for 2024! More information will be annouced soon!

 

Can I purchase firearms and ammunition at the Show?

Ammunition and firearm sales are not permitted at the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits.

Are dogs/pets allowed?

Dogs are not permitted at the Show unless they are for the following purposes:
- The dog is participating in a dog training seminar with one of our seminar speakers
- Service Dogs – all Service Dogs must remain on a leash at all times
- All other live animals are not permitted in the Show

Are backpacks allowed at the Annual Meeting?

Backpacks are allowed on site at the show but have to be kept on your person at all times. Any backpacks left unattended will be reported to security.

Is there mobility equipment available to rent at the show?

 Yes. Standard & Heavy Duty Wheelchairs and Scooters are available to rent through Scootaround. You can reserve them ahead of time by clicking here or at the show located near the registration counters.

Is concealed carry allowed at the Show?

During the 153rd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, personal firearms may be carried in the Kay Bailey Convention Center.  When carrying your firearm, always adhere to all federal, state, and local laws.
