Over 80,000 patriots came together May 19-22 in Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate Freedom, Firearms and Fellowship at the 145th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits (Presented by MidwayUSA). Over the event packed four-days, attendees had the opportunity to visit with over 800 exhibitors, attend dozens of seminars, workshops and special events, as well as meet with some of the firearms and shooting sports industry’s greatest influencers.

The ILA Leadership Forum (Presented by Townhall/Bearing Arms) took place on Friday, May 19 in front of a packed house. The Forum showcased several of our Country’s leading 2nd Amendment advocates and political minds with the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump, headlining the event. Chris W. Cox, executive director of NRA-ILA, made the first public announcement during the Forum of the NRA’s endorsement of Donald Trump for President.
The NRA Foundation shattered previous fundraising totals with over $1 million raised from the National NRA Foundation Banquet, Wall of Guns raffle and auction of the NRA/HPR Ammunition Jeep Wrangler – with all proceeds going towards supporting the future of the shooting sports.
For the NRA Country Jam (Presented by Colt) on Friday night, world-class country vocalist BRETT ELDREDGE and special guest JANA KRAMER hit the stage at The Belvedere at Waterfront Park for a free outdoor concert.
Saturday night showcased superstar Toby Keith and a tribute to our military at NRA Presents: TOBY KEITH at the KFC Yum! Center. With patriotic songs like "American Soldier", there was no act more befitting NRA's epic night of live music on Armed Forces Day than Toby Keith. Joining him was electrifying stage performer and rising country music star, Chris Janson.
NRA members gathered at Freedom Hall in Louisville for the Annual Meeting of Members on Saturday May 21. Members took part in the business of their association and heard from their NRA Officers, including Wayne LaPierre, Chris Cox, and President Allan Cors.
The National Prayer Breakfast, hosted by the Fathers in the Field mentoring ministry provided a welcome setting for attendees with inspirational talks and uplifting worship music. This year’s Breakfast saw record attendance levels, with Keynote Speaker Dr. James Dobson from FamilyTalk Radio addressing the crowd.
NRA-ILA hosted its Second Annual Youth Leadership Conference during the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Louisville this year. Guest speaker Kimberly Corban inspired the audience with her compelling story that highlights the importance of self-defense. Attendees spoke one-on-one with NRA staff about career opportunities with NRA, current issues, the gun control debate and campus activism.
