The Annual Meeting of Members, with thousands of enthusiastic attendees, commenced with a heartfelt prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. This year we were honored to have Keni Thomas, a combat veteran of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment Special Operations unit and popular country music singer, perform the National Anthem.

Before getting down to business, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre identified and welcomed the Oldest and Youngest Life members in attendance – Wayne Burd of Lavaca, Arkansas was the Oldest Life member honored, and Alexandra Grace Miller of Owensville, Indiana and Remington Xavier Klukowski of Herndon, Virginia were co-winners of the Youngest Life member award.

Following the reports of the Officers, that included some hard-hitting video content, the Report of the Committee on Elections was given and the newly elected NRA Board members were recognized.

Four resolutions were presented to the body and were subsequently referred to the NRA Bylaws & Resolutions Committee for consideration. The final business of the Association concluded with the resolutions and adjournment followed.
